Rabbits and pimpernels on cream

The pimpernel is a little scarlet wildflower that grows in England. One of my favorite movies of all time is The Scarlet Pimpernel. This artwork is a nod to this cult classic set at the time of the French Revolution. It was a dangerous time then just like it’s a dangerous time now. As the Scarlet Pimpernel made a choice to be courageous and act on his beliefs, so I believe that we must take a stand and act on ours as well. There’s nothing wrong with being a fat happy little rabbit in a time of peace, but now–we’re called to be pimpernels.
