Inspired by a nature hike near Black Forest in Colorado, I painted this wildflower chintz design using alpine flowers commonly found in late summer and early fall.

Alpine Wildflower Chintz

These bright designs with dark backgrounds work best on fabrics that don’t need frequent washing. Use for a pop of color.

Charcoal

I chose more traditional background colors for these designs in keeping with the history of chintz.

Chintz fabric is often handpainted and has a bit of a sheen on the printed side.

These designs may look best on polished cotton.
