Inspired by my children’s love of dinosaurs, I’ve created three sets of fabric designs just for kids featuring plesiosaurs, stegosaurs, and T-rexes.
Nessie and the Plesiosaurs
Plesiosaurs are aquatic, with flippers and long necks, and oval bodies, and they ate fish. In real life, they probably didn’t look anything like these silly goofballs, but–I wanted to make them fun and give them personality. I’ve also turned the fish and dots into coordinating fabric designs and added a few more just for fun.
Stegosaurus Dinosaurs
Stegosaurs are plant eaters with brains the size of a walnut. But they also have really cool plates running down their spines and spiked tails. No one knows what color they really were. Just for fun, I made these shades of purple and blue.
Tyrannosaur Rexes
Tyrannosaurus rexes probably ate meat. They grew really large and look quite terrifying–except, of course, for those itty bitty arms.
T-rex Dinosaurs – Pirates Mashup
Just for fun, for older kids, I created this T-rex dinosaur/pirate mashup collection with T-rex pirates, pirate ships, and three abstract dot designs in beige, red, and charcoal.
