I love yellow roses because they are like drops of sunshine in flower form. Do I love them more than other rose colors? I’m not sure. I can, however, say that they are some of my very favorite flowers. When I set out to create a repeating floral fabric design featuring yellow roses, I discovered that they came in a variety of coordinating shades of yellow. From soft pale cream to vivid lemon and sundrop, to brighter, golder hues with a touch of orange, they are all glorious. And then, there were the different petal shapes and flower shapes to add texture and interest.
