A while ago, I created this holly and ivy Christmas design inspired by the Old English Christmas carol.

While it was an opportunity to play with glossy sprigs of holly and delicate tendrils of variegated ivy, I wanted to convey the joy of the music and words of the song as well. This carol can be sung in a round, so I curved the text, and made circles and half-circles with it. I wound up using the chorus, but I think it turned out really nicely. What about you?
